Things have been super busy around Casa Noodle this past week but amongst the hustle and bustle you have to make time for looking at nice things. This week we got all naturefied and swallowed a rainbow. The result? A bit of a tummy ache and more colour than you could point a pointy thing at. It’s all acid bugs and down and out birds at the end of this rainbow but that’s better than leprechauns and fools gold in my opinion anyway.

The good lady wife and I have had the pleasure of spending a long weekend with her family in Jervis Bay. Along with the fantastic weather, we were lucky enough to be here on the same weekend as the local trash and treasure market.
As is to be expected with Trash n’ Treasure markets, there was more trash than treasure, but among the trash were a bunch of little golden books. $4 later and we have six new books for the Lad (and Dad). A bit of nostalgia and some lush illustration has been the chocolate sprinkles on top of an already awesome weekend. Inspired? Yup!

Twice yearly free markets the Finders Keepers are coming to Melbourne. Yay! The Finders Keepers are a showcase of emerging talent in all things design and craft, to be held at Shed 4 at the docks (I used to go raving here) on the 9th and 10th of October.
Get down there and get your craft on! And reminisce about the good old days raving while you’re at it. Boom!

The internet is super awesome! When you stop thinking about the whole “skynet / computers becoming sentient” thing and just look around at all the cool stuff there is, the whole terminator scenario doesn’t seem so bad. Here’s some things that distracted us from impending doom this week.

Welcome to Say Noodle. This is a place where we’ll post the things that take our fancy (as long as it’s kids and/or design related).
